About the Role
Redis is looking for a Technical Support Engineer (L1) to join its Customer Support team in India. In this role, you will provide technical assistance to customers, troubleshoot product-related issues, and ensure timely resolution while maintaining service quality and SLA compliance.
You will collaborate closely with DevOps, Product, and R&D teams and become a technical expert on Redis products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues related to Redis products.
- Analyze issues for both Cloud and On-Premise deployments.
- Work with cloud platforms such as Heroku and Vercel to resolve customer concerns.
- Identify root causes by asking relevant troubleshooting questions.
- Resolve installation, maintenance, and performance-related issues.
- Research solutions for latency, command usage, and other technical problems.
- Escalate unresolved issues to DevOps, R&D, or other internal teams when necessary.
- Provide accurate and timely updates to customers.
- Maintain detailed records of customer issues and resolutions.
- Follow up with customers to ensure complete issue resolution.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation.
- Share technical knowledge with team members.
- Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and team meetings.
- Learn and support newly introduced Redis products.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should possess:
- B.Sc., B.E., Graduate, Engineering, or Post Graduate qualification (Computer Science or Information Systems preferred).
- Freshers with strong technical aptitude are encouraged to apply.
